Northgate Strengthens Its Global Shared Service Centre Through Supplier Collaboration and eInvoicing

LARGE SOFTWARE, OUTSOURCING AND IT SERVICES FIRM USES TAULIA PLATFORM TO IMPROVE PROCESSES FOR GLOBAL SUPPLY BASE

northgateTaulia Inc., the only SAP®-certified SaaS platform for dynamic discounting today announced it has partnered with Northgate Information Solutions (Northgate) to provide a host of self-service capabilities to Northgate’s worldwide supplier base, including e-invoicing, full automation of purchase-to-pay processes and comprehensive visibility into the invoice process. Taulia’s Dynamic Payment Platform fully integrates with Northgate’s SAP ERP system, ensuring invoice compliance across country borders and allowing Northgate to provide the same level of extensive functionality, automation and visibility to its vendors regardless of the country of origin.

“As a Shared Services Centre, we deal with a high volume of vendor enquiries throughout the purchase to payment process, which require significant Accounts Payable (AP) resources to manage,” said Sara Peters, director of the Shared Service Centre for Northgate. “Taulia is a natural fit to seamlessly integrate with our existing SAP system and processes. The comprehensive self-service portal allows our suppliers full visibility into the invoicing cycle, creating more efficient communication; in the long term our target is to reduce inbound calls and emails to our AP department by 50%”

Northgate is one of the leading global providers of specialist software, outsourcing and information technology services to public and private sectors. Since Taulia’s initial implementation, supplier adoption has been steadily increasing through a gradual rollout across the UK, United States, Canada and additional countries in Europe. Suppliers have been particularly pleased with how easy it is to submit invoices in the portal through the transposition of purchase orders into invoices, as well as using the portal to track invoice status and manage any necessary disputes.
