Face-to-Face With Our Real-Life AP Superhero: Steve Richards, Coca-Cola Bottling

September 30, 2014

You may have seen our Accounts Payable Superhero video where we transformed an everyday man named Adam into a superhero. (And if you haven’t seen it, it’s definitely worth 1 minute of your time, especially if you’re in need of a good laugh!)

Now it’s time to meet our real-life Accounts Payable Superhero, Steve Richards of Coca-Cola Bottling. In this video, you’ll see what a day in the life looks like with super powers like his.

Life before automated payables processes was exhausting. Invoices would get stuck at executives’ desks, leaving them completely untraceable and hard to track down. Oftentimes, the AP department would receive paper invoices in the mail, giving hours of manual entry work for Steve and his team, delaying the invoice cycle time.

Now, Steve and his team of superheroes receive eInvoices directly, and they’re able to watch them as they automatically go through the workflow process. They now have full visibility into the approval and payment status of invoices, and are more informed than ever.

And in case you’re wondering what every AP Superhero thinks about when they first wake up in the morning, in Steve’s own words, “it is most certainly Dynamic Discounting.” Who wouldn’t?
