Northgate’s payables transformation journey began in 2010 when they migrated their local offices from UK to their central function in Granada. Beyond combining offices, they knew they needed to streamline their AP function-- having multiple inboxes for receiving invoice and payment inquiries with no auditable trail for messaging, made it very hard to automate processes and become more efficient.
Despite all this, Rachel realised an opportunity in her company to create efficient and effective processes for a centralised Shared Services function.
