Today, July 11, 2014, President Obama called on major companies to voluntarily pay their suppliers faster or help them gain access to affordable financing, writes The San Francisco Business Times.
“SupplierPay, in my opinion, could have been named CallTaulia, given how well the startup's service fits with the White House program,” writes Mark Calvey. “It's such a great fit that I called Taulia to see whether they orchestrated the SupplierPay initiative. The folks at Taulia said they were aware that the program was under consideration but can't take credit for its creation. That doesn't mean Taulia wasn't celebrating.”
