Verallia North America Brings Comprehensive Set of Services to Large Supply Base

veralliaTaulia Inc., the only SAP®-certified SaaS platform for dynamic discounting, today announced Verallia North America has chosen Taulia to provide dynamic discounting, e-invoicing and a comprehensive self-service portal to its network of suppliers throughout the region. Headquartered in Muncie, Indiana, Verallia North America is the US division of Verallia (the Packaging Sector of Saint-Gobain), which is the second largest global manufacturer of glass containers for the food and beverage industry.

Taulia’s unique position as a certified SAP add-on coupled with a cloud-based, SaaS portal will allow Verallia North America to ultimately employ the solution company-wide, integrating directly with the company’s centralized SAP ERP system.

“In 2011, we switched our internal operations to SAP and could no longer run our home grown supplier portal, which we had come to depend on for proactive communication with our extensive supply base,” said Mary Lynn Scalf, manager of GL, AP shared services and property accounting at Verallia North America. “We considered creating something new in-house but discovered Taulia’s solution had everything we needed and more. Not only can we provide proper e-invoicing capabilities and a supplier-facing portal that offers insight into the invoice process, we can also utilize a comprehensive dynamic discounting program that will provide us significant savings, and it all integrated seamlessly with SAP.”

Taulia’s solution allows large companies the ability to save millions of dollars annually using dynamic payment terms and on-demand payment acceleration for their suppliers, in return for additional discounts. The SaaS platform offers suppliers the ability to accelerate invoice payment on-demand, eliminating the need for costly receivable financing or credit card borrowing. A free e-invoicing capability eliminates printing and mailing cost for suppliers, while interactive self-services reduce collection cost and remove the need for inquiries by providing 24/7 visibility, all free of charge.
